Share a useful print-pricing lesson, not just a referral link
A practical creator playbook: demonstrate real costs, explain plan boundaries and make your affiliate relationship clear.
Start with a useful question
What does a spool-only estimate miss? Is your selling price protecting a margin, or just adding a markup? Build a short lesson around one question your audience already has.
A practical video
Price one familiar print. Show material, print time, labor and packaging, then explain the result.
A useful comparison
Change one assumption, such as batch size or hands-on labor, and explain what changed.
Show your assumptions
Use measurements from your slicer and actual supply costs. Label hypothetical inputs as examples. A calculator estimate cannot promise that every print will sell, or that a business will earn a particular income.
Start with Free when it suits the lesson. If you demonstrate saved profiles, printer wear, failure reserves or customer quotes, explain the relevant paid tier. Avoid implying that every screen is available on every plan.
Make the relationship clear
Put a plain-language commission disclosure beside your recommendation and link or code. A disclosure hidden in your bio or after a collapsed description is easy to miss. For a video, include the disclosure in the video itself. These recommendations follow the FTC’s influencer disclosure guidance.
Example disclosure
“I’m a LayerWorth affiliate and may earn a commission if you subscribe using my link or code.”
Describe a customer discount only when it is included in your approved terms. Do not promise extra annual savings or guaranteed earnings.
Give viewers one next step
Invite viewers to try pricing a print they already know. Approved affiliates can share their active link and companion code after accepting their personalized terms. You do not need to pressure someone into a subscription to teach them something useful.
